One of my greatest joys was to spend a few weeks in west Texas rounding up cattle. The hills were often rocky and steep and the valley far below. But each day we were saddled at dawn, stopped for a brief break at noon and often did not finish until dusk. It’s a wonderful feeling to watch the sunset, thankful for another “Long Day in the Saddle”.
